Mycroft and Sherlock
By Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Anna Waterhouse

This is the second Mycroft Holmes novel by Abdul-Jabbar, and although I began with this I don’t feel there was anything I didn’t really understand. This book moves with the pace of a movie, which probably has something to do with the film pedigree both authors possess.
The plot itself didn’t keep me as engaged it is, however, a fascinating insight into the characters of the younger Holmes brothers. Very enjoyable, but left me with a slightly unsatisfied feeling. Even so, I will be looking for other titles in Abdul-Jabbar’s Mycroft series.
