The Thursday Murder Club is set in a retirement home and could be subtitled ‘Seniors behaving badly’.
The Club meets to discuss cold cases and with the murder of Tony Curran find they are in a position to interfere in investigate a real case.
Hijinks ensue and the pleasure of discovering the characters and quirks of Coopers Chase begins.
This is not a twee take on old age and is a treat to read, the chapters are short and engaging. The author uses good comic timing and gentle wit to tell a good yarn and the result is delightful.
Highly recommended.
